Jungle trek in the Amazon with a special lunch in the heart of the rainforest.
An American family of 4 adults and 4 children wanted to come to Brazil with the desire to experience the Amazon. Although the mothers were Brazilian, they had moved to the United States in their teenage years and didn’t know much about the region, the lodges, or the activities. That’s when they reached out for my help to organize this experience.

After a first call to understand the family’s profile, I suggested Mirante do Gavião, a lodge located in the heart of the Amazon rainforest. With sustainable architecture, spacious rooms ideal for families, a swimming pool, and delicious cuisine, the place was a perfect fit for what they were looking for. The activities included boat trips and jungle treks, followed by a special lunch after the hike that Wowed them. They also had the chance to see native bees and taste the honey produced there. All the guides spoke English, which made the experience even richer, as they could learn about the region, its animals, local tribes, and customs in the family’s native language.
Both families were enjoying their time in the Amazon to the fullest when, on the penultimate day, the airline canceled their return flight. They sent me a message, worried they would have to miss some activities to deal with this issue. I reassured them: “Enjoy the day and the activities, I’ll take care of everything.” And that’s exactly what happened! By the time they returned, they already had new flights booked, and still could enjoy their last day in this unique part of the world.
After the Amazon, they spent a few days in São Paulo and then flew to Rio de Janeiro, where I also assisted with hotel reservations, tours, and other details, ensuring their trip remained unforgettable.
